Privacy Policy

KYVEON ("Kyveon," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit kyveon.com (the "Site") or contact us, how we use and protect it, and the rights available to you — including rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA.

1. Introduction & Scope

This Policy applies to information collected through the Site and through direct communications with Kyveon (email, contact forms, and scheduling tools). It does not apply to the practices of third parties we do not control, or to data we process on behalf of clients under a services agreement — in those cases the client's own privacy policy governs, and we act as a service provider.

We operate from the United States and design our practices to meet US data protection standards, including the CCPA/CPRA and the FTC's requirements for fair and transparent data practices.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Contact and inquiry data: name, email address, company name, and any details you include about your project, budget, or timeline when you use our contact form or email us.
  • Waitlist data: your email address when you sign up to be notified about upcoming services.
  • Business communications: correspondence, proposals, and feedback exchanged during an engagement.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: pages viewed, referring URLs, time on page, and interactions, collected via analytics tools.
  • Device data: IP address, browser type, operating system, screen size, and language settings.
  • Cookie data: as described in Section 4.

We do not collect sensitive personal information (such as government IDs, health data, or precise geolocation), and we ask that you not submit it through the Site.

3. How We Use Information

  • Responding to inquiries and providing quotes, proposals, and services;
  • Scheduling and conducting consultations;
  • Sending service-related notices, and — only where you've opted in — launch announcements or marketing emails (you can unsubscribe at any time);
  • Operating, securing, and improving the Site, including analytics and debugging;
  • Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our agreements.

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Cookies & Tracking

The Site uses a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Essential cookies — required for the Site to function (e.g., security and load-balancing). These cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. Data is aggregated and not used to identify you.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" setting, and where legally required we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC).

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months.

We share information only with:

  • Service providers that support our operations — website hosting, email delivery, analytics, scheduling, and payment processing — bound by contracts limiting their use of your data to providing services to us;
  • Professional advisors (lawyers, accountants) where reasonably necessary;
  • Authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or property;
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

6. Data Storage & Security

Your information is stored on servers located in the United States with reputable infrastructure providers. We protect it using administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity, including:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) for all Site traffic and form submissions;
  • Access controls limiting data access to personnel who need it;
  • Multi-factor authentication on business accounts and systems;
  • Regular software updates and security review of our infrastructure.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable US state breach-notification laws.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy: inquiry data for up to 24 months after our last contact (unless you become a client); client records for the duration of the engagement plus the period required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes; and analytics data in aggregated form. When retention is no longer justified, we delete or de-identify the data.

8. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights with respect to your personal information:

  • Right to know — request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, our purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom it was shared;
  • Right to delete — request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions;
  • Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information;
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CPRA, so there is nothing to opt out of; we also honor GPC signals;
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — we do not collect sensitive personal information;
  • Right to non-discrimination — we will never deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because you exercised your privacy rights.

8.1 How to Exercise Your Rights

Email kyveon.us@gmail.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and tell us which right you want to exercise. We will verify your identity by matching the information in your request against information we hold (typically your email address), confirm receipt within 10 business days, and respond within 45 days (extendable by a further 45 days with notice). You may use an authorized agent to submit a request with written permission and identity verification.

9. Other US State Privacy Rights

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws — including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and Oregon — may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling. We extend the request process in Section 8.1 to all US residents regardless of state. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision email; we will respond to appeals within the period required by your state's law.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site is a business-to-business service and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at kyveon.us@gmail.com and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced on the Site before they take effect. Your continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
